Born on March 9,
1963 and raised in Nanakuli, Hawaii,
Daynin Dashefsky (formerly Daynin
Allosada) is proud of her past despite
growing up on welfare. She is the
3rd eldest of seven children, which
consist of five girls and two boys.
Throughout her teen years, Daynin
competed in various teen-age pageants.
Always placing, but never getting
the title. Her persistence paid off
when she represented Hawaii and won
the national title of Miss Philippines-America
in Atlantic City in 1989.
Graduating with only a high-school
degree from Nanakuli High School (class
of 1981), she pursued both corporate
and creative careers before marrying
Hawaii news anchor Howard Dashefsky
in 1994. A divorce five years later
became the nudge she needed to turn
her dreams of inventing products into
reality.
Divorced at 37 with two young daughters
– Kylee, now age 10 and Briana,
age 8, Daynin focused the next 6 years
of her life on building a life and
career where she could be her own
boss, work from home, and spend more
time with her daughters.

A single parent
and Mompreneur with incredible vision,
creativity, and ideas for new products,
she invented her first product at
a family outdoor barbecue. When her
mother complained about having to
fan away flies with a palm leaf, her
solution was the No-Fly Zone, a battery-operated
canister with swirling streamers for
chasing away insects from the picnic
table. Patenting and marketing the
No-Fly Zone taught Dashefsky the complex
process of being an independent designer,
manufacturer, distributor, salesman,
promoter and finance planner.
In 2000, Daynin single handedly started
Deico Products where she became an
inventor and entrepreneur who’s
administrative and marketing experience
includes, but is not limited to, sales
and marketing, shipping and logistics,
contract negotiations, product and
campaign management, commercial production,
manufacturing oversight, product design
and development, office management,
launching and managing national TV
network campaigns, and other operational
expertise.

Raising $100,000
from family and friends to finance
her first venture gave her the start
she
needed, and she has never looked back,
investing nearly $1,500,000 into the
business to invent exciting new products
such as the “2 Cool Fashion”
Care’rousel line introduced
in 2002-03.
Her prior work experience as a sales
rep, legislative aide, architectural
executive assistant and kitchen-bath
designer for high-rise condos –
demonstrates her ability to work in
high-level/high-profile capacities,
often under significant pressure.
She possesses tremendous initiative
and drive, which provide the impetus
for turning her creative ideas into
breakthrough new products.
In July 2003, Daynin got involved
in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and has since
competed in various tournaments both
in Hawaii and Nationally. Her passion
for the sport led her to her involvement
in the MMA industry as a columnist
for Bodyguard magazine where she writes
a column called “The Stronger
Sex”. She also writes two columns
for Pacific Edge magazine called “Mother
of Inventions” where she writes
about the invention process and “Mind,
Body, and Fitness” where she
writes about health and fitness.

In 2005, Daynin
formed GFI Associates, a marketing
and promotions firm. Through GFI,
Daynin teaches seminars on “How
To Bring Your Product To Market”.
The overwhelming success of her seminars
and private consulting has led her
to produce her seminars on DVD where
she will be marketing them through
her national infomercial that will
be launched in Fall of 2006.
Going from one extreme to another
in her career, Daynin is excited about
the new challenge and the new opportunities
that await her. Knowing that this
new adventure will be another stepping
stone in her quest to teach and inspire
others to go after their dreams.
What the future holds, no one knows,
but for Daynin, making a future happen
instead of waiting for it to happen
is what makes her Daynin. With all
the challenges Daynin faces as a single
mother and entrepreneur, she only
hopes that someday her daughters Kylee
and Briana grow up knowing that they
too can reach their goals and live
their dreams without any limitations
put on them other than the ones they
put on themselves.
